Tasting notes
The beautiful carbonic maceration 2020 Extravaganza Cinsault delivers fresh aromas of raspberry, red currant, tart cherry, violets, and rooibos tea. The nose opens to riper notes of banana purée, strawberry jam, cinnamon, and red licorice. The mouthfeel is also fresh and vibrant, but with phenomenal texture and the perfect amount of grip.
The tannins here are extremely polished, and the mid palate is round and juicy. The wine finishes long with the perfect amount of bitterness and spice. A rarity in small quantities that you can enjoy now or in the next 12 to 15 years.
