2022 Valo Sauvignon Blanc

Extremely intense on the nose, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc begins with lemongrass, gooseberry, fresh basil and wet stone aromas. Swirling brings fresh melon, Asian pear, grapefruit and notes of grass, pyrazines and an almost flinty, mineral tension.

The mouthfeel is mid-bodied and remarkably fresh, with high tension and beautiful acidity, but without losing an inch of texture. Notes of ripe lychee, lemon oil, and fresh herbs dominate the mid palate, and the wine remains angular and vibrant with plenty sweetness and texture to back it up.
